The Episode starts with Akshu rushing to Abhir and embracing him tightly. “I’m so sorry, my love,” she whispers. “I scolded you and didn’t come to school because I was upset. But you were wrong to send Docman and me on that date.”
Abhi thinks of Abhir, his heart aching. He knows that Akshu is right, but he can’t help but feel a pang of guilt. He wanted her to be happy, and he thought that a date with Parth would be good for her. But he never imagined that it would backfire like this.
“I know this is what your dad wanted,” Akshu continues, her voice trembling. “But I don’t want this, Abhir. I want to spend my life with his memories.”
She hugs him again, her tears falling on his shoulder. Abhi feels a lump in his throat. He wants to tell her that he loves her and that he wants to be with her too. But he knows that it’s not the right time.
He turns and walks away, his heart heavy. He needs to find a way to fix this mess before it’s too late.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Mahima is furious. She has just learned that the investors are pulling out of their deal, and she blames Abhi for it.
“If they leave, then I will not leave that builder!” she snarls to Anand.
“But Mahima, we can’t force them to stay,” Anand reasons calmly. “Sometimes people disappear when we need them the most.”
“But we can’t let this happen!” Mahima insists. “Abhi, you need to do something!”
Abhi shakes his head. “I’m sorry, Mahima,” he says. “I can’t help you with this. I have a lot on my plate already.”
Mahima’s eyes widen in disbelief. “Are you serious?” she asks. “Your own sister is in trouble, and you can’t even help her?”
Abhi looks away, unable to meet her gaze. “I’m sorry,” he repeats.
Mahima turns and walks away, her face filled with disgust.
Back at the Birla house, Akshu is sitting in her room when she receives a call. It’s a man claiming to need a lawyer.
“I need a lawyer, can you meet me?” he asks.
Akshu hesitates. She doesn’t know the man, and she’s not sure if she should trust him. But then she remembers Abhir’s words. He said that the hospital was in trouble, and they needed a lawyer.
“Okay,” she says. “I’ll meet you.”
She hangs up the phone and starts to get ready. She knows that she’s taking a risk, but she can’t leave Abhir and Mahima alone.
Just then, Abhi enters the room. He’s looking for a lawyer, but he finds Akshu instead.
“Akshu,” he says, “I need to talk to you.”
Akshu turns to face him. “What is it?” she asks.
“It’s about the hospital,” he says. “We’re in a bit of trouble.”
Akshu’s heart sinks. “What kind of trouble?” she asks.
“The investors are pulling out,” he says. “And Mahima is furious. She’s blaming me for it.”
Akshu takes a deep breath. “I’m going to meet a lawyer,” she says. “Maybe he can help us.”
Abhi’s eyes widen in surprise. “You’re a lawyer?” he asks.
Akshu nods. “I’m also a doctor,” she says. “But I’ve been practicing law for a few years now.”
Abhi smiles. “That’s great news,” he says. “Maybe you can help us after all.”
Akshu picks up her bag and heads for the door. “I’ll do my best,” she says.
She turns and looks at Abhi. “But you need to promise me something,” she says. “You need to promise me that you’ll tell me everything that’s going on. No more secrets.”
Abhi nods solemnly. “I promise,” he says.
Akshu smiles and walks out the door. She knows that she’s in for a fight, but she’s determined to help Abhi and the hospital.
Abhi sits on the couch, looking tired and defeated. Akshu walks over to him and hands him a chocolate bar.
“Eat this,” she says. “And sit quiet. Don’t teach me my work.”
Abhi smiles wryly. “Yes, ma’am,” he says.
Akshu scolds him for not taking care of himself. She loosens her hair and shakes it out. Abhi watches her, his eyes drawn to her beauty. He reaches out and tries to move her hair aside.
“Dekheya hai…” a voice sings.
Aarohi enters the room.
“How was the surgery?” Akshu asks.
“Good,” Aarohi replies. “I’ve set up the projector in the conference room. The investors will be there soon.”
Abhi sees that Akshu’s dress is torn. He recalls a memory from the past. He sees the investors entering the room and rushes over to Akshu.
“Wear this coat,” he says. “Don’t panic. Your kurta is torn.”
“I can’t take your jacket,” Akshu says.
“Please wear it,” Abhi insists. “They’re coming.”
Akshu takes the coat and puts it on.
“Thank you,” she says.
Abhi and Akshu walk into the conference room together. Abhi apologizes to the investors for not being there the last time. He says that he wants to navigate this matter with Akshu.
The presentation goes well. The investors are impressed with Akshu’s strategy and decide to invest in Birla Hospital.
At the end of the day
Akshu and Abhi dance together to celebrate. Akshu thanks Abhi for helping her.
“I should be the one thanking you,” Abhi says. “You saved the day.”
“I should go now,” Akshu says.
“Take the coat,” Abhi says.
“I can’t,” Akshu says. “It’s yours.”
“I know,” Abhi says. “But I want to sell it to you.”
“Sell it to me?” Akshu asks. “But why?”
“Because it has your chocolate stain on it,” Abhi says.
Akshu laughs. “Fine,” she says. “I’ll buy it.”
She hands Abhi the chocolate bar and takes the coat. She puts it on and smiles.
“Thank you,” she says.
Later that night
Akshu is at home, getting ready for bed. She puts on Abhi’s jacket and smiles. Akshu recalls the events of the day and how Abhi helped her. She wonders if he has feelings for her too.
Abhi is also at home, thinking about Akshu. He can’t stop thinking about the way she looked in his jacket. ABhi knows that he has feelings for her, but he’s not sure if she feels the same way.
He hears a knock at the door and goes to answer it. It’s Shefali.
“Is everything okay?” she asks.
Abhi nods. “Yes, everything’s fine.”
“Is it because of Akshu?” Shefali asks.
Abhi doesn’t answer. He just turns away.
Shefali smiles. “I know you have feelings for her,” she says. “Don’t be afraid to tell her.”
Abhi doesn’t say anything. He just walks away, leaving Shefali standing there.
Meanwhile, at Akshu’s house.
Akshu is sitting on her bed, looking at Abhi’s jacket. She smiles and puts it on. Akshu feels his presence all around her.
Akshu knows that she has feelings for Abhi too. She just doesn’t know how to tell him.
She closes her eyes and makes a wish. Akshu wishes that one day, they can be together.
